ABOUT THE AUTHORS
g. haron davis (they/them) is a New York-born, Tennessee-raised Young Adult author. Currently residing in the outskirts of Kansas City, Missouri, they specialize in horror and several shades of fantasy. They co-founded marginsbox, a diversity-celebrating subscription book box, with Adrianne White in 2019. Cam Montgomery (non-binary she/her) spends her time teaching dance to queer kids, bingeing anime, tending bar and writing romancey novels. Two of her YA novels—Home and Away and By Any Means Necessary—are available now. Having ditched LA, the transplant now lives in Seattle and has made a habit of complaining about the weather even though she secretly loves it.
Adrianne White (she/her) is a born and raised Midwesterner living in the Kansas City, Missouri suburbs. When she’s not writing or editing young adult content, she’s usually napping, watching movies, listening to kpop, and uplifting marginalized voices in children’s literature. In 2019, she co-founded marginsbox, a diversity-boosting book subscription box, with g. haron davis. Creating the stories she needed growing up is her joy.
Eric Smith is an author and literary agent from Elizabeth, New Jersey. When he isn't working on other people's books, sometimes he tries to write his own. His latest books include Don’t Read the Comments, You Can Go Your Own Way, and Jagged Little Pill: The Novel. He enjoys pop punk, video games, and crying during every movie. Mark Oshiro is the award-winning author of the young adult books Anger is a Gift (2019 Schneider Family Book Award) and Each of Us a Desert, both with Tor Teen, as well as their middle grade books The Insiders and You Only Live Once, David Bravo with Harper Collins. They are also the co-author (with Rick Riordan) of the upcoming Percy Jackson novel centered on Nico di Angelo and Will Solace. When not writing, they are trying to pet every dog in the world.
Roselle Lim is the critically acclaimed author of Natalie Tan’s Book of Luck and Fortune, Vanessa Yu’s Magical Paris Tea Shop, and the upcoming Sophie Go’s Lonely Hearts Club. She lives on the north shore of Lake Erie and always has an artistic project on the go.
Alexandra Villasante is the author of the YA novel, The Grief Keeper, a 2019 Junior Library Guild Selection and winner of the 2020 Lambda Literary Award for LGBTQ Children’s Literature/YA Fiction. Alex is a co-founder of the Latinx Kidlit Book Festival, a member of the Las Musas collective and the program manager at the Highlights Foundation. She lives in the semi-wilds of Pennsylvania with her family and has the privilegio of dreaming in both Spanish and in English.
